SECTION 260:25-17-136. Application for waiver of training requirements

- (1) Whose primary assigned duties are in the areas of benefits, payroll, training, affirmative action/equal employment opportunity, retirement, safety, workers compensation, or employee assistance programs; and,(2) Whose primary assigned duties do not include classification, compensation, recruitment, or selection.(b) Employees who are eligible for a waiver according to Subsection (a) of this Section, may apply by submitting a written request signed by the Appointing Authority, along with a position description, job family descriptor, or a description of the employee's primary assigned duties, to the Human Capital Management Division.(c) The Administrator shall be responsible for granting or denying waivers under this Section. The decision of the Administrator to grant or deny such a waiver shall be final.
