- (1) Self-closing doors that allow food to be viewed without opening the door of the unit,(2) An automatic self-locking mechanism that prevents the consumer from accessing the food items inside the unit if the ambient temperature rises above 41°F. The locking mechanism shall not prevent the unit from being closed if it has been activated.
